Dr Michael Zhang

Dr Michael Zhang is a distinguished dentist based in Melbourne, renowned for his exceptional skills and patient-focused approach. Graduating with honours from the University of Melbourne in 2010, he was awarded the prestigious Dean’s Honours List, showcasing his dedication to excellence in dentistry. With over 15 years of experience in private practice in metropolitan Melbourne, he has cultivated extensive expertise in all aspects of general dentistry, with a special interest in restorative dentistry, dental implantology, orthodontics and cosmetic procedures.

Known for his gentle demeanor and meticulous attention to detail, Dr Michael has garnered a loyal patient base, especially among individuals who may have dental anxiety. He emphasises the importance of listening and understanding and understanding each patient's specific needs, creating a comfortable environment that fosters trust and confidence. Dr Ying Tao

Dr. Ying Tao obtained her dental degree from the University of Melbourne in 2017. She is passionate about all facets of dentistry, particularly restorative dentistry and orthodontics. Upon graduation, she quickly discovered a passion for aligning smiles and enhancing facial aesthetics.

Believing that a straight smile is not just about appearance but also about optimal oral health. She sees dentistry as a dynamic profession, constantly enhanced by technological advancements. With her kind, gentle, and compassionate approach, Dr Ying easily puts her patients at ease, always advocating for their treatment with utmost care and patience. Dr Ying is a member of Australian Dental Association and is registered with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

Dr Ying is fluent in English and Mandarin, and speaks basic Cantonese. Outside the clinic, Ying cherishes moments with her daughter for various activities. In her spare time, she is an enthusiast of outdoor pursuits, including skiing, badminton, and hiking.

Digital Dental and Panoramic X-rays

Our digital dental x-rays are very safe and ultra-low in radiation. The high-resolution images are available for immediate evaluation on our treatment centre monitor. A digital panoramic x-ray is an excellent diagnostic tool for showing areas of concern in teeth, bone structure and joints.

Intraoral Camera

With a tiny handheld intra-oral camera, we can take high resolution photos and videos inside your mouth and bring them up on the treatment centre monitor for you to review. It allows us to provide a greater understanding of your dental condition when making choices regarding your oral health. Once the work is completed, our intra oral camera will show you how treatment has restored your tooth.

Electric Handpieces

Electric handpieces are quieter and produce less vibrations and no aerosol droplets compared to their conventional air-driven counterparts. It allows for greater treatment accuracy, conservation of healthy tooth structure and much better infection control. Many patients report that this also make dental treatment more comfortable and much quicker.
